*Disclaimer: I received this product complimentary from Influenster
Hey Everyone! It’s been awhile, I know…I’ve definitely took the longest hiatus in awhile. I’ve been focusing a lot more on IG and Youtube these days, but I didn’t want to neglect my blog any longer. As many of you know, we’re in a pandemic currently and at home #SocialDistancing. I hope you’re all well and healthy! We’re going to make it out of this for sure 🙂
I recently received a VoxBox from Influenster for the month of April and I’m super excited to share what I received. Cologne & perfumes are my favorite, ever since I could remember. I not only like to look good, but I love to smell good too! I’m always looking for the next best scent to try and wear. In my VoxBox, I received the new YSL Y Eau Fraiche fragrance and WOAH when I tell you guys this fragrance smells good, BELIEVE ME!
Let’s Talk About Packaging
When you open up the box, you’re welcomed by this really sleek rectangular bottle with the statement ‘Y’ along the top of the bottle. To encapsulate the coolness of the scent, the bottle features a frosted gradient from bottom-to-top. Such a genius way to design the bottle! I received the 2.0 FL oz bottle to try and looks like it would be able to last me for a couple of months!
How does it Smell?
When I first sprayed the fragrance on my skin, I literally had to smell it over and over again. The hint of lemon makes it smell fresh on the skin and it mellows out to a nice woody scent (which would be the cedar wood). On the YSL website, there is geranium also, but I don’t know the scent itself so I wanted to let you know it’s there too!
When to Wear it?
The best season to wear this is Summer for sure. I can see myself spraying this on after the shower before heading out and tackling the day. In my opinion, the scent last on the skin for about 6-8 hours. I like to have my scents to last a little longer, but I can do with reapplying if I feel the need to.
What’s the Cost?
For the 2.0 Fl oz, it cost $77 and the 3.3 Fl oz cost $95 – for a luxury brand, that is very affordable! Click here if you’re looking to try it!
