Men’s Style Post: Adding Florals to your Spring Closet

Kenjay Style

Florals are in because Spring is back! I recently bought this floral top because I wanted to lighten up my wardrobe with more color. My palette leans a lot towards white, cream, and denim this Spring season, but I’m not opposed to adding a pop where it’s needed. I’ve taken a lot of baby steps to be more open to wearing color and prints, but I tried this on and I was sold on it. Plus, it makes for a great Easter outfit so I cannot complain about the combination.

Florals can seem very scary at first, but you’ve got to find the right print that’s made for you. I don’t like print that is too distracting. Do you know what I mean? Like there’s a lot going, right! Thankfully, this top isn’t like that. I chose this floral top because there’s a lot of versatility to mix and match for the bottoms and the colors are fresh. I could match this top with a classic trouser, a nice pair of jeans, or a pair of dressy shorts.

It is Spring season again so why not update your wardrobe with a little bit of florals. Winter brought us darker tones and it’s time to give your closet some life!
