Men’s Style Post: Jean Shorts that Don’t Go Out of Style

Kenjay Style

What is it about jean shorts that scream palm trees, warm weather, and a good time? I was born in the Philippines, but I feel like a part of my soul was born in California too. I guess that’s why I like living here in South Florida because it reminds me a lot of the West Coast. There’s the palm trees, warm weather and there’s always a good time (except there’s more humidity here).

I am super obsessed with these jean shorts for SO many reason:

  1. They’re a great wash and they go with EVERYTHING
  2. They show my greatest asset: Legs/Booty
  3. I can wear them when I want and wherever I want
  4. They don’t go out of style

FYI. These shorts were originally longer than what you see. I actually cut these shorter and frayed them some more so that it gave an even more distressed look. Call it beginner’s luck because I didn’t know what I was doing and it turned out amazing. I remember watching a YouTube video and saying, “Okay, let me try doing this myself!” If it went wrong, I was going to donate them anyways, but if it goes right, I win!

I know that many guys wouldn’t wear jean shorts like these. But I know my queer sister’s would! And this post is for you <3 With Pride season around the corner, these shorts would make the best bottoms to wear for the parade, beach, and/or dance party. I decided to pair these shorts with a long sleeved flowing shirt because it’s still a bit chilly here in South Florida to show some skin, but warm enough to show these legs.

What are your favorite pair of jean shorts right now? Comment below 🙂
