Men’s Style Post: The Not so Tacky Tropical Print for South Florida

Kenjay Style

What do you think when you hear tropical print? I think about those tacky, oversized tropical shirts you find at like Tommy Bahama. EEEKK. But thankfully, not all tropical print is horrible. When I worked at Sandro, I was obsessed with the shirt when it came into the store. I was hesitant to buy it because I already bought this color is dark navy. What I didn’t realize was that this shirt was a top seller. I made sure to snag it before anyone else did!

What I like about this print is that it reminds me of Miami Vice. Super 80’s, suave, and edgy. Walking down the Art Deco streets of Miami Beach would be a fitting scene for this look. Now that the weather is warming up i can sneak out and make this shirt a part of my wardrobe cycle for the months to come. Can’t believe summer is right around the corner and spring just arrived!

What do you think about tropical prints?
