The more that I grow as a person, the more my style choices change. I’ve decide to try a new aesthetic and work on a personal style upgrade. When I first started Simply Kenjay, I wanted to showcase my personal style, but personally, I felt like my voice and style choices were kind of all over the place.

As much as I’d like to be “trendy” it’s not necessarily who I am. I like pieces I can actually wear all the time vs. what looks cool for the moment. Plus, I want to make sure I’m spending my $$ more effectively and getting the best bank for my buck.

I’ve completely editted my closet and I’m leaning towards Minimalism, but with a South Florida flare. Since it’s primarily warm all year round, I want to inspire male & female style-fantatics with outfits that work for our city (FLL/MIA). Now, some of my posts have some minimal looks, but I now know what direction I want to take my blog.

This look I styled feels so effortlest, chic, and sexy all at the same time which I want to feel all the time when I’m out and about. Style should always be an extension of who you are and right now I’m excited to be who I am authentically with this new change. I hope you guys agree!

What I’m wearing: Zara shiny black shirt, blue jeans, & white sneakers
